CONCORD, NC - Competitors running the 2016 edition of the RLV Tuned Exhaust Products Gold Cup Series April 15-17 at 103rd Street Sports Complex in Jacksonville, Florida have until Tuesday April 5 to catch the pre entry fee pricing. While there have been a number of changes to the Gold Cup fee structure for the new year, there still appears to be a bit of uncertainty with regards to how the new program works this season. The fee for a per class entry covers that class for the entire weekend of racing, practice included.  Competitors are NOT paying a Saturday fee for a class, and a Sunday fee for the same class. Tier 1 fees of $215 or $265, depending on what classes you enter, cover that class for both days, practice included.

If a competitor elects to run more than 1 class for the weekend, then they will pay an entry fee which covers that class for both days, practice included. Any fees paid cover the class you enter for the weekend, practice included.

While there has been an increase in fees this year, the purpose was to offset the additional expense of the purses being paid out to the Top 3 overall finishers in 6 Pro Classes, including Senior Pro Gas Animal Medium and Heavy, Senior LO206 Heavy, Sportsman Pro Gas Heavy, and Junior Pro Gas Lite and Heavy. The top 3 overall finishers in those classes will receive $500 to the winner, $250 for 2nd, and $150 for 3rd, giving drivers the opportunity to recoup some of their entry money from the weekend, something competitors have never been able to do in the past.
