BRENT CREWS BOUNTY PUT IN PLACE FOR WKA MANUFACTURERS CUP FINALE
“Beat Brent Crews and win cash in North Carolina”
CONCORD, NC - In an effort to increase the competition level and provide bragging rights in the World Karting Association (WKA) Manufacturers Cup, series officials are please to announce a cash offer for drivers in the IAME Mini Swift division. With the reigning two-time IAME International Final Champion Brent Crews confirming his participation, any driver other than Crews who tops the podium blocks, in either of the two race days, will be awarded $100.00 cash.
“First off, we would like to congratulate Brent on his amazing results,” explains Kevin Williams, President of the World Karting Association. “Not only did Brent represent the United States in Europe, he now has the title of a double IAME International Final Champion. We are welcoming him back to the final round of the 2018 Manufacturers Cup, but also enticing his fellow competitors to see if they can beat a world champ.”
With the final event of the 2018 season taking place at the popular GoPro Motorplex in Mooresville, North Carolina, family, friends and fellow competitors will line the fences to see if anyone, or who, can possibly take the checkers ahead of Crews.
Williams continues, “We are offering $100.00 to any driver who can beat Crews for both Saturday and Sunday’s main events. If more than one driver is able to finish ahead of the world champion, the cash award will be given to only the winner.”
Dubbed the ‘Crews Bounty’, WKA is putting their money on the line in the already exciting IAME Mini Swift division.
On track competition begins Friday, October 26 with unofficial practice while Saturday and Sunday will provide the platform for two complete race days. IAME Mini Swift drivers will do battle in their main events in the afternoon of each day, with some cash on the line.
