Founded by former drag racing champion and Purdue University Engineering graduate Brian Seward, BBS Race Engine Development has been competing in the karting world since 2005. Brian also works daily with his son Robby, a USA Marine Sergeant, on all the steps to make engines faster. Utilizing precision machinery, tooling and inspection equipment, all BBS engines are meticulously-built to the tightest tolerances possible in order to provide exceptional performance and durability. Our in-house dyno facility ensures that each and every engine is tuned for optimal performance.
As racers, the staff at BBS Race Engines understands the importance of customer service. Traveling to nearly every major karting event on the schedule and always available by phone, Brian Seward and his staff are not satisfied with your karting performance until you are. In 2018 BBS joined forces with Jim Brickley to enhance sales and customer service. Jim is also a Mechanical Engineer from Penn State with 30 years experience in technical sales.
