CONCORD, NC - The WKA Speedway Dirt Series comes to Charlotte Motor Speedway for the Karting Challenge in conjunction with national sprint and road races being held, April 17-19th. 

WKA has just released the entry blank, purse information and running order for the Charlotte event, which you can find in the links below or on the Speedway Dirt Series page on www.worldkarting.com.

Registration Open for WKA 45th Daytona International Speedway Kartweek

Speedway, Road Racing, and Manufacturers Cup All Available

Gearing up for WKA’s 45th edition of Daytona International Speedway Kartweek, World Karting has made all three event registration platforms available concurrently. With great interest in this year’s Daytona Kartweek already buzzing, Officials felt it was important to get the important details out to the racers. As always, WKA Membership is required to participate at Daytona Kartweek.

As in past years, Road Racing paper entry forms are available online, along with WKA National Class Structures at www.worldkarting.com

Maxxis Tire Speedway Daytona Championship

Entries for Speedway is available online, through the Speedway Dirt Page at www.worldkarting.com The specified tires for all classes will be Maxxis HT3. Pit Space Parking can be arranged by calling 609-326-3741, M-F 9am-5pm EST, or emailing Mike@worldkarting.com. UAS will be offered only with a minimum of 14 prepaid entries by December 2.

Much of the ManCup has been enhanced for 2020. We have added the Rok Cup Classes and enhanced the race format. Here are a few reminders to help during the registration process;

Most importantly, ManCup PRIZE PACKAGES will be announced in the next couple of days!

• Early Bird Discounts are available for racers registering by November 27. Tiered Pricing will be employed after November 27, with the next pricing level cutting off December 10. After December 10, “at-track” registration pricing will take affect.

• Qualifying Order for all classes will be determined by order of Pre-Entry only. Drivers who pre-entered first will be lined up for Qualifying first, and so on.

• Pit Space Parking is going fast, and can be secured by calling 609-326-3741, M-F, 9am-5pm EST, or emailing Mike@worldkarting.com

• Due to lack of participation in 2019, IAME X30 Senior will NOT be offered at Daytona

WKA Entries Available for Charlotte Dirt Speedway; Two Additional Classes added

CONCORD, NC - After opening Parking Reservations for the WKA Charlotte Motor Speedway Karting Challenge, the organization has made Registration available for the Maxxis Speedway portion of the event.  A new venue means new pit layout, and new operational aspects that make it necessary to get a head start on taking registrations.

“With the tireless work of our committees, sponsors and WKA Staffers,” stated WKA President Kevin Williams, “we felt it was important to give the competitors plenty of time to reserve their spot for this historic event.”

Additionally, WKA has recently decided to add two additional classes for the race weekend.  At the request of the karting public, Rookie Red Plate and Unlimited All Stars have been added to the schedule, rounding out an already full slate of classes.

“Since we announced that WKA would be returning to the famed Charlotte Motor Speedway,” continued Williams, “the suggestions and unsolicited help from the karting community has been a great assistance to ensure we have an amazing event, and we can’t thank our members enough for this valued help, and the reasons for adding the two classes.”
