“A host of awards for Vortex ROK competitors at the 2020 WKA Manufacturers Cup”
December 26, 2019 – Continuing to roll out their 2020 prize package, the World Karting Association (WKA) Manufacturers Cup staff has confirmed their Mid-Season Shootout prize package for Vortex ROK competitors. With ROK Cup Superfinal invites and 2021 Florida Winter Tour entry packages on the docket, ROK Cup USA will also award complete engine packages in a raffle type format for the top five finishers in the end of the year championship battle.
“Our partnership with ROK Cup USA is all about rewarding our competitors all while continuing to grow and promote the Vortex product line,” explained WKA President Kevin Williams. “With entry packages for both ROK the RIO and the Florida Winter Tour, competitors will also have a chance to be awarded a Vortex ROK engine package. The season starts this week!”
The competitors gaining the most cumulative points in Mini ROK, Junior ROK, Senior ROK and ROK Shifter after the Orlando, Florida, Charlotte North Carolina and New Castle, Indiana events will receive a ROK Cup Superfinal invitations.
*Class must average ten entries to receive ROK Cup Superfinal tickets. If class does not average ten entries, ROK Cup Superfinal tickets will be replaced with 2020 ROK the RIO entry package.
The competitors gaining the most cumulative points in Micro ROK, Junior 100cc, Senior 100cc and ROK Masters after the Orlando, Florida, Charlotte North Carolina and New Castle, Indiana events will receive a 2020 ROK the RIO entry package. The competitor in the 206 Cadet gaining the most cumulative points after the Orlando, Florida, Charlotte North Carolina and New Castle, Indiana events will receive a free Vortex ROK engine rental at the 2020 ROK the RIO.
Additionally, WKA has also confirmed that all year end champions will receive 2021 a Florida Winter Tour prize package with details to be announced at a later date. All Vortex ROK class competitors that finish in the top five in series points will have their name entered in a draft for one free engine per class
Williams continued, “We are happy that the start of a new karting season is now upon us and look forward to growth as we continue to evolve with the karting industry.”
The 45th annual WKA Daytona Kart Week will commence with load in on December 27th with on track action beginning on December 28th. Please note that the Vortex Engines/Parts truck will be on site providing sales while ROK Cup USA will be on site to provide support and service.
