CONCORD, NC - World Karting Officials have announced that the Cadet Kart is legal to run in the LO206 Sportsman Class on the RLV Tuned Exhaust Products Gold Cup Series in 2015.
Competitors utilizing that particular kart are required to run CIK bodywork and meet all Cadet rules, including seat specifications, body, axle rules, etc, as per Section 200 of the 2015 WKA Tech Manual.
The announcement is effective immediately, allowing competitors who run a Cadet Kart to compete in the upcoming Ionic Edge Chassis Nationals March 27-29 at 103rd Street Sports Complex in Jacksonville, Florida.
