CONCORD, NC - With Daytona Kartweek well in the rear view mirror, competitors in the Bridgestone/Mazda Manufacturers Cup Series are chomping at the bit to hit the racetrack again.
And that will indeed happen next weekend as the series makes its 2nd career appearance at the ultra modern Go Pro Motorplex in Mooresville, North Carolina. Nestled in the heart of NASCAR Sprint Cup, Xfinity, and Camping World Truck Series race shops, the opportunity for drivers to again shine, right in the shadows of another huge NASCAR stage continues.
While no 1 driver found the top shelf of the podium at Daytona more than once during Kartweek, the list of winners joining the Go Pro event is once again strong. Headlining that list are Daytona Hytorc of Texas Pro Leopard Senior winner Dustin Stross from Connecticut, as well as Kartsport North America Pro IAME Junior winner Zach Holden from Indiana. Dakota Pesek, winner in the Simpson Performance Products Yamaha Senior Pipe category will also be back to see if he can make it 2 in a row. In the younger age groups, Ohio’s Nick Snell returns to Go Pro for a shot at another Grand Products Comer Rookie Sportsman win while Pennsylvania’s Robert Noaker III will return for another shot at a win in the Franklinkart.com Komet Sportsman class. Joining that duo will be Donald Whorton II, in search of a repeat in the New Jersey Sprint Series Yamaha Rookie Sportsman Class.
Also joining the race order will be the IAME Swift Cup class, a new Local Option class that is prepared to join the series for the balance of the 2015 season.
And once again, there will be 4 classes that will award Money Payouts to the Top 2 in each class, with a set of Bridgestone Tires going to the third place finisher. Here is a breakdown of those 4 classes.

$1,000 to win
