CONCORD, NC - On the heels of recognizing many multiple winners in the first ever Fall Brawl October 23-25 at NCM Motorsports Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky between the WKA VEGA/TSRacing National Road Race Series and the KART/MARRS Series, comes yet another list of winners who earned their share of victories, and eventual titles. One of those drivers was Midwest competitor Mark McGuire who claimed the Sprint TaG Senior 2 victory and subsequent title by virtue of his win in the rain on Sunday. As most people know, the KART/MARRS Series runs in the rain. And with wet track conditions still prevalent on Sunday, McGuire took full advantage, taking the top spot over Sam Jordan and 5 time weekend winner Jim Russell Jr. While Russell took the Sprint TaG Senior 1 race on Saturday, McGuire’s consistent finish enabled him to lay claim to both titles for the year in a very competitive class.

Other winners over the weekend were James Crawford in the KART 125 Shifter class, taking the win over Rich Voss and Thomas Dupont. Ben Moris was the Animal Limited Modified winner over Charles Wilbur and James Finn, while Jere Lightwine scored the Sprint 125 Shifter win over Jar Langenfeld and Pierce Baldus.

John Penczak was the Saturday winner in the Sprint 80cc Shifter class, taking the win over Jerry Kellum, while Trevor Harris took top honors in the TaG F1 race over Glen Critchett and Brandon Basela. Otto Vollmerhausen was the top dog in the WKA Sprint class over Adam Myers and Lindsay Read, while Andy Leighninger took the Yamaha Sportsman Sprint win over Jeff Leighninger and Richard Russell.

Here’s a list of some of the other KART and WKA winners from the October event.
