CONCORD, N.C. -- Entering its fourth year of competition, the CIK Karting Academy Trophy has once again requested each country to submit their participant for the 2015 Competition Year, for drivers 13-15 years of age.  As it has in past years, The World Karting Association, as affiliate karting member of the FIA-ACCUS has been placed in charge of submitting the driver who will represent the United States.

The CIK Karting Academy Trophy is 3-event program on spec equipment which encourages fair and equal international participation.  In 2015, the three events offered for the program are:

- June 6-7, Zuera, Spain
- July 11-12, Genk, Belgium
- September 12-13, LeMans, France

Drivers and their entrant parent(s) are asked to enter the season by March 31, 2015.  Entry fees include all equipment, including driver suit, (travel is the responsibility of the entrant).  Past year's participants representing the United States include Raquel Martinez, Tazio Torrigiani, Michael Benyahia, and Jared Cordova.

Interested applicants can submit their request to participate to Kevin Williams, the International Liaison for WKA, via email to Kevin@WorldKarting.com by February 15, 2015.  If more than one drivers request to participate, the WKA Board of Trustees will review the interested parties to make the selection.
