CONCORD, NC - World Karting Officials are pleased to announce a very unique venture with the KART
Organization for the season ending event for the VEGA/TSRacing National Road Racing Series at NCM Motorsports Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

The event, slated for the weekend of October 23-25 will feature all the national classes for WKA, as drivers make their final bid for their respective 2015 national titles.
Blending into the racing lineup will be many of the classes from KART, providing one of the most challenging and competitive weekends of the year.
“ I would like to say, on behalf of the KART Organization, it has been a great pleasure working with WKA in putting together a combined event for the National Road Racing Series at NCM Motorsports Park, stated Kelly Read from KART. The KART Officials, along with KART membership, are so excited to have the opportunity to race at this facility and be a part of a major event in Road Racing. We have heard nothing but great news regarding this facility, and look forward to supporting this event. In conjunction with the WKA classes, KART will have their classes included into the schedule also. Along with supporting this event, officials from KART will be on hand assisting where needed. Bringing together 2 major organizations such as KART and WKA shows just how much these organizations are working together to keep Road Racing alive!!! I myself look forward to seeing everyone at this event. You won’t want to miss it as I’m sure that weekend of racing will be full of quite a bit of positive energy, leaving competitors with nothing but great things to say about the event, and looking forward to hopefully many more combined events in the future, as a result of the good working relationship”.
As preparation continues for this historic event in October, Road Race competitors still have a tough, competitive road to travel before Kentucky comes into focus. The next event for the Road Race series will be the newly added national event June 13 and 14 at
Summit Point Raceway in Summit Point, West Virginia. Information regarding the event will be posted on the WKA website next week. Here is a look at the balance of the season schedule for Road Race.
