CONCORD, NC - Coming off of a most successful Road Race weekend at Virginia International Raceway, the table is now set for the Dunlop/Xeramic National Road Race Series presented by Russell Karting as the series finale gets set to invade Atlanta Motorsports Park in Dawsonville, Georgia for the Grand National event, scheduled for Sept 15-17.
Entry Blank info is now available for the season ending event, which will also determine the respective 2017 national champions. Activities for the Grand Nationals begin with parking and pit pass sales starting Thursday Sept 14 at 3pm. Pre Entry Pickup will be available at 4pm that same day.
On Friday, the track will be open to a full day of practice beginning at 9am. Race day activities get underway Saturday and Sunday, with practice beginning at 9am, and the days first racing events taking place at 11am each day.
26 national classes will be ready and waiting to hit the challenging elevation changes at AMP, with several Local Option Classes also in action, including:

Updates from last year include food concessions that will serve breakfast and lunch, as well as overnight security, allowing competitors to come and go, as long as they have their credentials with them. Electrical hookups are available at a rate of $15 per day.
Due to an ordinance imposed by the city of Dawsonville, Georgia, the track is not allowed to utilize a working pa system. However, AMP is acquiring an FM System, of which the frequency will be made available when customers pick up their weekend handouts.
